Vertical Scroll: This is an oil painting (2x4 ft) of the Venerable Khippa Panno (Nga`i Kim Trieu) that was finished on June 5th. Jean personally gave this painting to the Venerable during the meditation retreat on June 9th -19th in the Sakyamuni Meditation Center (Thich Ca Thie`n Vien) in Riverside, California, which is where the painting now resides.
Vertical Scroll: This is a very small oil sketch Jean painted before actually starting on the final 2x4ft painting. This is to help in realizing the whole painting to see what works and what doesn’t.
