Help on installing font:
- Go to Control Panel (Start > Control
Panel)
- Double
click on the Fonts folder
- In
that folder, go to the File
menu on the top-left of the window, and click Install New Font
- On the
bottom half of the Add Fonts window,
you can select the Drives and
the Folders that your font is
located.
- After
you have selected the right drive/folder, the List of Fonts box on the top half of that window will load up
your font. (It could take a few moments to load the font. Be Patience,
it’s a virtue.)
- Select/click
the font and click OK
To view our Webpage
-If our
webpage did not appear correctly in Vietnamese on your internet browser, you
can do the following:
- After
installing the font (as shown above)
- On
your internet browser (Internet Explorer), right click on the page and a
menu will pop up
- Go to Encoding
- (A new
pop-up menu should appear next to Encoding), select Auto-Select and Western
European (Windows)
- That
should make the text appear correctly in Vietnamese
- If it
doesn’t, you can try playing around with the Encoding menu. Try User Defined.
-If all
that didn’t work, then you can try the following:
- Select
the Tools menu on the top right
section of the Internet Explorer window.
- Then
go to Internet Options
- In the
General Tab, click on the Fonts button on the bottom section
above the OK button
- Select
VNI-Times font and click OK
- You
can try playing around with the options if it doesn’t work
(I’m not so sure about this step
though.)
-If
that didn’t work neither, the you can try one last
resort:
1.
Open up Microsoft Word
2.
Go to the webpage and Copy the text of the whole web
page (right click>Select All, then right click>Copy)
3.
Paste the stuff you just copy into Word
4.
Then it should work if you have the font installed
5.
If it still doesn’t, you can select all the words in
Microsoft Word and select the right font (VNI-times) in the font menu
If all that didn’t work, then I give up. The computer is too
smart for us.
